The eyes are very delicate and your lifestyle and diet will go along way to affect it.

Some of those foods include;

1. Smoking

  1. Alcohol

Studies has shown that alcohol weakens the muscles of your eye; it can damage the optic nerves permanently, preventing the interaction of the brain and eyes. Double and distorted vision can occur from information that is slowed down between the eye and the brain. You need to take alcohol in the moderate amount for the sake of your eyes.

  1. Saturated fat

Junk foods are delicious but can cause serious issues down the line for your health if you consume too many.

A diet that is high in saturated fat and cholesterol can cause plaque, a fatty substance, to build up on the macular vessels, which can hamper blood flow in your eyes. Therefore, you should cut back on high-fat foods.
